Nagasena’s Chariot is a nonprofit spiritual care organization offering end-of-life companionship, interfaith chaplaincy, and grief support for individuals and families who may lack access to traditional support systems. Rooted in inter-spirituality contemplative practices, cultural humility, and ethical integrity, we offer a compassionate presence for those navigating the sacred threshold between life and death
No One Dies or Grieves Alone
Many face the end of life without proper emotional, spiritual, or community support.
Our work is grounded in presence, cultural inclusivity, and a deep commitment to serve
A Contemplative Response
To A Profound Human Need
We understand that many people face the end of life without adequate emotional, spiritual, or communal support. Whether because of religious disaffiliation, economic hardship, isolation, or fear, far too many individuals die without the presence, peace, and meaning they deserve. Our mission is to change that
- Many die without support.
- Causes: isolation, poverty, disconnection.
- Everyone deserves dignity and meaning.
- We are here to change that.

Sacred Support at Life’s Threshold
We believe that dying can be a sacred rite of passage—not just a medical event. We walk alongside individuals and families with gentleness and respect, whether through bedside chaplaincy visits, grief circles, guided rituals, or community education. We also support the safe and meaningful use of plant-based medicine and contemplative practices for those seeking alternative forms of end-of-life healing.

Our Offerings of
